Armenian Minister of Diaspora to visit U.S., Canada

Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan is to leave for a working visit to the United States and Canada, January 28. 
 
During her visit to Glendale, California, Minister Hakobyan will take part in a function on the occasion Armenian Army Day. On January 29, she is scheduled to meet with the Head of the Western American diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Hovnan Terteryan. 
 
Minister Hakobyan will also meet with representatives of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) in California and with other people. The Armenian official will also visit the grave of Soghomon Tehlirian (who assassinated Talat Pasha, the mastermind behind the Armenian Genocide in Turkey), as well as the Willian Saroyan museum. 
 
In San Francisco Minister Hakobyan will hold meetings with members of the Armenian community. She is also to hold a number of meetings in Toronto. Hranush Hakobyan is to return to Armenia on February 6.
