The liturgy in Holy Cross Church on Akhtamar Island can be postponed for an indefinite term with respect to a terrorist threat. The Turkish intelligence services received information on a provocation being prepared by an Azerbaijani-Turkish organization – the Union on Struggle against Baseless Claims of Armenians, Yerkramas paper reported.

The Editor-in-Chief of Zhamanak Istanbul-based Armenian-language paper Ara Gochunian told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that this information does not correspond to the reality. “The liturgy will take place on the named date,” he said.
