female Armenian national football team arrived in Malta to participate in
qualifying round of Euro 2013. Armenian athletes have shown

Armenian Diaspora of Malta was closely keeping an eye and greatly approving of the restoration process of Armenian Cathedral Church of Saint Cross on Van Island. We consider the establishment of a cross on the church’s dome to be a natural process requiring no explanations, and statements regarding technical problems occurred with establishment of the cross having no validations and standing up for no criticism.
Based on the mentioned above, the Armenian Diaspora of Malta completely agrees with the standpoint of Armenian Apostolic Church and public organizations…

 In connection to the 65th anniversary of the victory in World War II a wreath-laying ceremony was held in Valletta, Malta at the Armenian Khachqar, situated in Hastings Gardens. The ceremony was held with the participation of Members of Board of the Armenian Community of Malta headed by its Chairperson Vera Boyajyan, Director of Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Malta Sergey Medvedev and Chairperson of the Coordination Board of Russian Compatriot in Malta Snezhana Bodishtyanu. On the 12th of April a meeting was held between Raffi Hovannisian, the establisher of «Haritage» Party, the deputy of the parliament of Armenia, and Vera Boyajyan, the Chairperson of the Armenian Community of Malta. Armenian Community of Malta is very grateful to the Riksdag for recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide and expresses its appreciation to Social Democratic, Green and Left Parties for their contribution to the process of adoption of the resolution despite the pressure and threats from the Turkey. We are convinced that historical justice would be done in spite of all the efforts of Turkish government to prevent it.

Having watched the Euronews reporting called «Forgotten Victims of Frozen Conflict» dated February 1, 2010, the Armenian Community of Malta expresses its outrage and disappointment.
We consider that it is incorrect to give such a free and one-sided interpretation to UN resolutions on Nagorny Karabakh conflict, as well as to approve and broadcast calls for war that were heard in the reporting.

31 июля 2009 года в гостинице “Хилтон” состоялся первый конгресс армян Мальты, на котором присутствовали более сорока участников. Среди участников были Мальтийцы армянского происхождения, депутаты Мальтийского парламента и просто граждане выразившие глубокий интерес к Армянскому Народу и культуре.
